Al-Taqwa College Indonesia: A Recognized Cambridge Test Centre

Al-Taqwa College Indonesia is proud to be an official Cambridge Test Centre, a distinction not held by all schools that teach the Cambridge curriculum. This unique status allows our students to study and take Cambridge exams within the supportive environment of their own school, ensuring access to timely resources and personalized guidance.

As a Cambridge Test Centre, we offer the following assessments:

• Cambridge Primary Checkpoint
• Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint
• Cambridge IGCSE
• Cambridge International AS/A Levels

In addition to serving our own students, we welcome private candidates who wish to demonstrate their academic abilities through Cambridge assessments.

Cambridge Achievements

Recipients of the “Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award” (OCLA) 2020 for the IGCSE Program

1. Fajar Ibrahim Nasry Hamdan (Year 11) for the category of “High Achievement for Foreign Language Arabic”.

2. Cong Enqi (Year 11) for the category of “High Achievement for First Language Chinese”

National curriculum:

Al-Taqwa Indonesia proudly aligns its educational approach with the national curriculum, known as The Merdeka Curriculum. This curriculum is distinguished by its focus on essential content and its commitment to enhancing the quality of education.

One of the standout features of The Merdeka Curriculum is its emphasis on differentiated learning, which allows teachers to tailor their teaching methods to the unique needs and interests of each student. This approach fosters enjoyable, student-centered learning experiences that aim to significantly improve the quality of education.

While we are an International Islamic School, we understand the importance of integrating local subjects into our curriculum. Hence, alongside our international perspective, we also place value on local subjects such as Sundanese, Civics, and Bahasa Indonesia. This combination enables our students to gain a well-rounded education that connects them to their cultural roots while preparing them for a globalized world.
