Cambridge Curriculum

The Cambridge International curriculum is an international standardized education which is recognized and accepted around the world. Cambridge students are expected to become long lasting learners as they are challenged on an informed curiosity through various subjects offered which interconnected with daily happenings or real life situations. Through its challenging and inspiring programs, students are encouraged to develop higher order thinking skills – problem solving, critical thinking, independent research, collaboration and presenting arguments.

The five stages lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage – Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced – builds on the learners’ development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately.

Altaqwa College of Indonesia proudly serves as an official Cambridge Test Centre, equipped to administer a wide range of Cambridge Tests, including Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint, Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS/A Level. Notably, the school welcomes private candidates seeking to demonstrate their academic proficiency through Cambridge assessment. National curriculum:

Al-Taqwa Indonesia proudly aligns its educational approach with the national curriculum, known as The Merdeka Curriculum. This curriculum is distinguished by its focus on essential content and its commitment to enhancing the quality of education.

While we are an International Islamic School, we understand the importance of integrating local subjects into our curriculum. Hence, alongside our international perspective, we also place value on local subjects such as Sundanese, Civics, and Bahasa Indonesia. This combination enables our students to gain a well-rounded education that connects them to their cultural roots while preparing them for a globalized world.
