Al-Taqwa College Indonesia believes that the best education is born from the collaboration between parents, students, and the school.

Parents and Friend (PnF)

At Al-Taqwa College Indonesia, we deeply value the partnership between parents and the school, which is why we have established the Parent and Friend (PnF) forum. This forum serves as a platform for the Association of Parents and Teachers (POMG) (Perwakilan Orangtua Murid dan Guru) to work collaboratively in shaping the future of our school and our students.

PnF is led by Ibu Nuria Irfani, a passionate and dedicated parent of Medina (Grade 8). Under her leadership and with the invaluable support of parents like hj. Yusliana (parent of Raissa and Rashad), Ibu Aini isa (parent of Angga, Rio, and Aufar) and Ibu Dianing Sapitri, M.pd ( parent of Hanoonah), as well as the active participation of all parents, the PnF has become a vibrant and impactful force within the school. Together, they organize meaningful events, engage in school consultations, and contribute to planning and decision-making that strengthens the school community.

We believe that parents are more than supporters; they are essential partners in the success of Al-Taqwa College Indonesia. Their insights, energy, and collaboration enrich our school environment in countless ways. Together, we aim to foster a warm, family-like relationship, working hand-in-hand to ensure the excellence and holistic development of every child.

The PnF is not just an association – it is the heartbeat of our school community, reflecting our shared commitment to providing the best for our students.

OSIS plays a key role in bridging communication between students and the school administration, fostering student involvement in various activities, and ensuring the overall development of students in terms of academic, social, and personal growth.

Functions of OSIS

    • Organizing School Activities: OSIS is responsible for organizing school events such as cultural festivals, sports events, talent shows, charity drives, and other extracurricular activities.
    • Student Advocacy: OSIS acts as the voice of students, representing their opinions, concerns, and suggestions to the school administration. They often participate in meetings with school leaders to discuss student welfare.
    • Building Leadership Skills: Through the responsibilities in OSIS, students develop important leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Members learn to organize events, manage resources, and engage in problem-solving.
    • Promoting School Spirit and Discipline: OSIS is involved in activities that promote school pride, discipline, and unity. They may create campaigns to encourage respect for school rules and the environment.

Election Process

    • Campaigns: The election of OSIS members, especially the president, involves campaigns where candidates present their plans and goals for the school year. This process is often accompanied by speeches, posters, and debates.
    • Voting: Students vote to elect their leaders, with the election typically held annually. The voting process is meant to be democratic, with each student having a say in who will represent them.

Activities Managed by OSIS

Leadership camp.
The Leadership Camp at Al-Taqwa College Indonesia is an annual event designed to equip students with essential leadership skills while fostering teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth. During the camp, students participate in a variety of activities such as group discussions, problem-solving challenges, and team-building exercises that encourage collaboration and critical thinking. These activities are structured to help students understand the importance of leadership qualities such as communication, decision-making, and emotional intelligence. The camp also provides opportunities for students to interact with mentors and experienced leaders, learning from their insights and experiences in a real-world context.

In addition to leadership development, the camp emphasizes the values of discipline, respect, and community spirit. Students engage in outdoor activities like hiking, obstacle courses, and sports competitions that promote physical endurance, resilience, and cooperation. These activities are designed to challenge students both mentally and physically, helping them to push their limits and build self-confidence. Throughout the camp, students are encouraged to reflect on their leadership potential, set personal goals, and strengthen their ability to work effectively in diverse teams. The Leadership Camp at Al-Taqwa College provides a holistic approach to leadership training, preparing students to take on future challenges with a strong sense of purpose and responsibility.
