[Bogor, Indonesia] – August 17, 2024 – The serene campus of Al Taqwa College Indonesia recently buzzed with energy as students from various grades participated in the highly anticipated annual Leadership Camp. Designed to cultivate essential leadership qualities, teamwork, and an understanding of Islamic principles, the multi-day event was packed with a diverse range of activities that challenged and inspired its young participants.
The camp kicked off with an emphasis on discipline and cohesion through marching troops practice. Under the guidance of Mr Rahman Syuhada as the vice of students affairs, students learned precision movements and the importance of synchronization, laying a foundational understanding of collective effort and order.

A highlight for many was the invigorating trekking expedition around the Hambalang Hill. This not only provided a refreshing break from the classroom setting but also fostered resilience, problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for nature. Students navigated challenging terrains, encouraging and supporting one another along the way.
Developing effective communication was a key focus, with a dedicated public speaking seminar. Mr Rahmad Rezki as the vice director guided students through the art of crafting compelling messages, overcoming stage fright, and engaging an audience. This session equipped aspiring leaders with invaluable skills for future presentations and interactions.
Deepening their understanding of exemplary figures, a session on Islamic leader history led by Mr Ayip Nurzeha captivated the students. Through engaging presentations and discussions, participants learned about the lives, struggles, and triumphs of influential leaders in Islamic history, drawing lessons on justice, wisdom, and perseverance.

Evenings were a time for camaraderie and relaxation. A lively BBQ night provided a perfect opportunity for students to bond, share experiences, and unwind in a fun and informal setting, strengthening friendships and fostering a sense of community.
The camp concluded with an exciting series of team games. These activities emphasized strategic thinking, cooperation, and healthy competition, reinforcing the importance of working together to achieve common goals. The laughter and cheers echoing across the campus were a testament to the strong bonds formed throughout the camp.
The leadership camp aimed to empower students with the skills and values necessary to become effective and compassionate leaders.
