Cisarua, Bogor – October 2–3, 2025.
A total of 67 students from Secondary Al Taqwa College Indonesia, accompanied by their teachers, enthusiastically participated in the Leadership Camp and Excursion held at Citra Alam Riverside, Cisarua, Bogor. This program was designed to nurture leadership qualities, independence, and responsibility, all grounded in Islamic values.

Throughout the two-day camp, participants engaged in a variety of fun and meaningful activities such as outbound games, nature adventures, teamwork challenges, shared meals, and a campfire night that strengthened brotherhood and the spirit of togetherness.

The highlight of the event was an inspirational seminar titled “Leadership in the Perspective of Islam”, which provided insights into how a true leader should emulate the noble character of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam leading with adab (good manners), trustworthiness, and sincerity.

The Deputy Director of Al Taqwa College Indonesia, who also served as the keynote speaker, emphasized that this program was not merely a recreational activity but rather a platform for developing students’ Islamic character and leadership mindset. “We want our students to understand that leadership is not about power, but about responsibility and service. With Islamic values as their foundation, they will grow into leaders of integrity, wisdom, and noble character,” he stated

With great enthusiasm, the students completed every challenge and reflection session throughout the camp. The event concluded with a collective prayer and a shared commitment to apply Islamic leadership principles in their daily lives both in school and in the wider community.

The Leadership Camp and Excursion 2025 was a truly memorable experience for all participants. It taught them that every Muslim is a leader, and that true leadership begins with the ability to lead oneself according to Islamic guidance.
This program stands as living proof that the best learning does not always happen inside the classroom, but also in nature where leadership, togetherness, and spirituality unite in perfect harmony.

The Importance of Education in Shaping a Character-Building Generation

Education is the foundation for shaping a generation that is intelligent, well-mannered, and prepared to face future challenges. In today’s rapidly evolving world, education plays a role beyond merely transferring knowledge—it is essential for instilling moral values, ethics, and social awareness.

Through quality and holistic education, children can grow into independent, responsible individuals with a competitive global edge. Education is also a key to improving living standards and unlocking brighter future opportunities.

At school, education is not solely the teacher’s responsibility—it is the result of collaboration among students, parents, and the wider community. Therefore, it is crucial for all parties to support and actively participate in the educational process. Investing in education is the best investment a nation can make for its future.
